Ryan O’Shea, the founder of Future Grind and the host of the Future Grind podcast, is an entrepreneur and futurist speaker from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He currently serves as an advisor and spokesman for Grindhouse Wetware, which uses technology to augment human capabilities. Ryan has produced and given talks around the world on the subject of futurism, including at VivaTech Paris, Maker Faire Rome, the BDYHAX human augmentation conference in Austin, Texas, and at DEF CON. Ryan also serves as a “Solar System Ambassador”, representing NASA and CalTech’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 2017, Ryan co-founded a Carnegie Mellon University-based artificial intelligence startup, which was recently honored as one of the top 10 competitors in the $5 Million IBM Watson AI XPRIZE. Ryan is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and currently serves on the boards of numerous non-profits in Western Pennsylvania.
